Chelsea/Man City BTTS/Haaland 1+ shot on goal (-125)

After seeing the lineups from both of these teams there was no way I wasn’t going to add both teams to score into this parlay. City sets up in a 3-2-4-1 with Haaland up front and Doku, De Bruyne, Silva and Savinho right behind him. Sucks not having Foden out there but I think the combination of De Bruyne, Doku, Silva and Haaland can get the job done. On the Chelsea side they line up with Palmer, Fernandez, Nkunku and Jackson in the front half, players that for sure can cause some trouble for this depleted City back line missing Walker, Stones and Rodri.

In the three matches played last season they combined for 11 total goals and both teams scored in 2 of those 3 games. They also played earlier this month with Man City winning 4-2, I know it’s pre season but still gets me excited for what’s to come. I think with the players both of these teams have on offense, a goal by each team shouldn’t be much of a problem. Expect goals this morning.

Onto my reasoning for backing the best player on the pitch to put at least one shot on net. In the two matches against Chelsea in the regular season last year Haaland had a combined 14 shots, 5 on goal and 2 goals. Including in the second match where he had 10 total shots, seems Chelsea hasn’t found a way to defend against the “Robot” just yet. Things may have changed over the summer but for now I am riding the wave. Anytime De Bruyne and Haaland are in the lineup together I am always intrigued to back Haaland to have a shot on goal because De Bruyne is so good at setting him up, this duo on the offensive side of the ball is os fun to watch and so successful.

I think Haaland will have similar success this morning and find the net a couple of times. GL.
