Aston Villa ML/Ollie Watkins 1+ Shot on Goal (-128)

Backing a two-leg Aston Villa parlay because I think they are going to dominate Everton tomorrow. Watkins was the man last season for this team and I think his role will only increase with Douglas Luiz leaving this past summer.

Through three games this season Watkins has a combined 4 shots with 2 coming on goal, and a shot on goal in 2 of 3 games. Watkins's numbers last season were too much to ignore for me, I know it’s a different year but just hear me out. Watkins had 101 shots and 44 on goal in 37 games, averaging 2.72 shots and 1.19 on goal per game. With the absence of Luiz as discussed earlier I think he will only improve on these numbers this season.

Watkins and Villa will now face an Everton team that has started the season 0-3 while allowing a combined 10 goals, an average of 3.33 goals per game. A Villa team that has started 2-0-1 and has looked good in their wins against both West Ham and Leicester should have zero trouble beating this Everton team. Villa will also be playing at home where they went 12-4-3 securing 40 points last season.

Keeping this short and sweet because I’m predicting this to be a one-sided affair with Villa winning to nil and Watkins finding the back of the net. GL.
