Backing Northwestern tonight in a line that I can’t seem to understand. At 13-10 on the year Rutgers is somehow a 3.5 point favorite against 17-10 Northwestern. NW will be without a key role player in Ty Berry averaging 11.6 PPG, him not playing is a tough loss for Northwesterns offense but I don’t think it makes them such a big underdog.

At 4-2 in their L6 games, with wins over Illinois, Ohio St and Nebraska and both losses coming in overtime. They could easily be 6-0 in their L6 games. Compared to Rutgers who has supposing ripped off three starught wins and most recently a 22 point win against Wisconsin, but other than that they have been average. 6-5 in their L11 and averaging just 66 PPG.

I think this will come down to Northwesterns offense, they average 9 PPG more than Rutgers and are averaging 81.5 PPG in their L6 games. Rutgers has seen 69+ points in just 2 of the L9 games, I just don’t think Rutgers will be able to keep up offensively.

I like Northwestern on the road tonight to win outright. No points needed. GL.
