Nebraska +18.5/Arizona ML/Man City ML (-135)
Steep odds on this but I think it’s going to be worth it.
Starting off with Nebraska +18.5, this is a ton of points that juts beat #6 Wisconsin but it’s watered because they have been horrible on the road this year. 16-6 on the season but 5 of those 6 losses have come on the road, losing by an average of 14.4 points. Aside from the road struggles they are a very solid basketball team with wins against Purdue, Wisconsin, Kansas St, Michigan St, Ohio St, and Northwestern. The struggles away from home are certainly a concern but I think they can do enough to keep this within range, predicting a single digit loss.
Next, will touch very shortly on Arizona, I mean this is a smash spot and if they lose this I may have to hang up the cleats. We’ve seen this before against Oregon St when they were 18-point favs and lost by 3 so there is no certainty here, but they shouldn’t have any problems. Lastly, one thing to note it that Arizona lost to Stanford earlier in the year by 18 points, the same number they are favored by tonight. Regardless I still like Arizona to roll at home tonight.
Lastly backing a Manchester City team that is finally fully healthy, with Haaland and De Bruyne projected to be starters tomorrow. This comes at a great time too, just a couple points back of the top of the table after Liverpool’s lose this morning. City has won 6 of their L7 games with the only dropped points against Crystal Palace drawing 2-2. Brentford on the other hand has had their fair share of struggles losing 8 of their L10 games and 6 of their L7. They do get Ivan Toney back from his suspension, but I don’t think he will be enough to beat a 100% fit City squad. Brentford has given up 14 goals in their L5 games and they shouldn’t get any breaks tomorrow with City scoring 2+ goals in each of their L7 games and a combined 18 goals during that stretch. City should come away with a convincing victory on Brentford grounds tomorrow. GL.
