Manchester City ML/Kansas ML (-102)
Put together a little two team parlay this afternoon into tonight between Manchester City at 3:00 PM EST and Kansas at 9:00 PM EST.
Will start off talking about Man City, a team that is finally fully healthy, with Haaland and De Bruyne projected to be starting. This comes at a great time too, just a couple points back of the top of the table after Liverpool’s lose yesterday morning to Arsenal. City has won 6 of their L7 games with the only dropped points against Crystal Palace drawing 2-2. Brentford on the other hand has had their fair share of struggles losing 8 of their L10 games and 6 of their L7. They do get Ivan Toney back from his suspension, but I don’t think he will be enough to beat a 100% fit City squad. Brentford has given up 14 goals in their L5 games and they shouldn’t get any breaks tomorrow with City scoring 2+ goals in each of their L7 games and a combined 18 goals during that stretch. City should come away with a convincing victory on Brentford grounds tomorrow and draw closer to the top of the Premier League table.
Next, I want to touch on Kansas fresh off a blowout win against Houston on Saturday where they shot 69% FG and 46% from three both above their season average. What makes these numbers even more impressive is they did it against a Houston team that allows just 54 PPG. Kansas now has wins over #17 Kentucky (by 5), #7 Tennessee (by 9), #4 UConn (by 4), #9 Oklahoma (by 12) and now #4 Houston (by 13). Kansas will not face a Kansas St team that has lost their L4 games by a combined 56 points for an average losing margin of 14 PPG. With losses to Houston by 22, Oklahoma by 20 and Oklahoma St by 3, all three teams Kansas beat by double digits. This game does come at home for KSU where they are 12-4 on the year but I don’t think even that will help them against a health Kansas team that gets Kevin McCullar and Hunter Dickerson back. Like Kansas to get a rather comfortable victory tonight, but as you know its college basketball so anything can happen. GL.
