Krajicek/Ram ML (-150)

Backing the two guys who broke my heart this afternoon after they sent Nadal and Alcaraz home.

When it comes to singles and doubles tennis they are two completely different games and these two guys have figured that out. Nadal and Alcaraz may be two of the best singles players in the doubles draw but when it comes to teamwork the Americans had them beat.

Krajicek/Ram are coming off a pretty dominate 6-2, 6-4 victory earlier this afternoon against the doubles favorite and the match that made me dig into these two a little more than I should have previously.

Austin Krajicek is currently 18th on the ATP in doubles and has a career high ranking of #1 back in June of 2023. Austin also has won the French Open in 2023 and has a career record of 14-5 on this surface. His partner Ram, is currently the 5th best doubles player on the ATP and also has a career best ranking of #1 back in October of 2022. Ram has 4 major wins as a doubles player (1 Australian Open, 3 US Open), these guys are the real deal and I am kicking myself for not giving them the respect they deserve when I bet on Nadal and Alcaraz this morning.

They now face the Czech duo who are lucky to be in the semi finals in my humble opinion. They have gone tp a third set tie break in all three of their matches after dropping the first set in all three of their matches. With a team that ranks 39th and 42nd on the ATP I just don’t see them being able to beat this American duo who has been on fire.

The Czech’s may have some magic left in their miracle run but I think they run out of steam tomorrow. I love this bet and think the odds should be much lower for the Americans. GL.
