Bateman 2+ REC/Samuel 25+ Yards/ Aiyuk 40+ Yards (+100)
Was debating laying off player probs for the Ravens game because I coudnt’t really find any good matchups but I think I found a golden opportunity with Bateman. Rashod Bateman has 2+ receptions in 12 of 16 games this season and in 10 of the L12. With Mark Andrews returning but not fully healthy and Flowers locked up by Sneed I think Bateman will get a ton of looks this afternoon. Number 2 receivers have recorded 7, 3, 5, 3, 3, 7, and 7 receptions in the L7 games against the Chiefs. Lastly, Bateman is coming off a 3 reception game against the Texans in the divisional round and has gotten 4 or more targets in 7 of the L9 games.
Onto the 49ers game and this doesn’t have much behind it besides how bad the Lions secondary has been. They allowed 408 yards of total offense, 349 passing yards, 3 pass TDs, and 147 yards on 8 catches to Mike Evans against the Bucs last week. Deebo and Aiyuk should have a chance to feast against this secondary allowing 416 YPG, 358 pass YPG, and back to back 350+ pass yards in the playoffs. Deebo has recorded 25+ receiving yards in 12 of 15 games this year and the in two of those games he was hurt and could even finish the first half. Aiyuk on the other hand has recorded 40+ in 14 of 17 games on the year including the playoffs. Like stated earlier the Lions defense lets up a ton of yards to opposing wide receivers including 147 to Evans, 181 to Nacua, 192 to Jefferson, 227 to Lamb, 141 to Jefferson again, 74 to Jeudy, 68 to Moore, 119 to Olave, 95 to Watson, 96 to Moore again, and 175 to K. Allen all in the L11 games. The Niners receivers will for sure get theirs but the only concern with this is if it turns into a Deebo Samuel game and Aiyuk takes a backseat, other than that both guys should easily surpass these numbers.
