Baylor/UCF

Baylor ML (-148)

I think this game is going to be closer than some expect, Baylor will still win the game, but I think UFC will put up a fight. Despite their 12-7 record UFC has had some really good wins including a 5-point win against #3 Kansas and a 6-point win against Texas, both came at home like tonight’s game against Baylor.

Baylor on the other hand has hit a dry spell, losing their L3 games but they all were coin flips and easily could have been wins. A 4-point loss against Kansas St, a 2-point loss at Texas losing on a buzzer beater and most recently a 3-point triple OT loss against TCU. Although they are just 5-5 in their L10 games the offense has been firing, averaging 85.1 PPG on the year and 83.8 PPG in their L8. This isn’t the Baylor team we are used to from the past, but they definitely have more talent than UFC with all 5 starters averaging over 9.6 PPG and two guys averaging 13+ PPG.

Lastly, I think the x-factor tonight will be Baylor’s offense compared to UFC’s offense, I don’t think UFC will be able to keep up. UFC averaging just 71.9 PPG (270th in the country) and averaging just 60.4 PPG in their L7 while going just 3-4 during that stretch. I think is a game where Baylor finally gets back on track. GL.

Record: 10-8
