Wednesday EPL Pt.2

De Bruyne/Richarlison/Jota 1+ shot on goal (+136)

Backing all three heavy hitters on this afternoon slate to get a shot on goal, one player from each game.

Since coming back from injury KDB has brought much needed life into this City midfield, scoring and assisting against New Castle on 1/13 and adding another goal against Huddersfield on 1/7. In both games he was a sub and played a total of 62 minutes between both games. In all of these games De Bruyne came off the bench, with him seeing a whole game I expect him to have zero troubles putting at least one on net. Something worth noting is KDB will get all free kick oppurtunites, we should expect to see 2 or 3 free kicks from close enough range he can go for goal, these will count as SOG if he is able to put one close.

With James Maddison back in the lineup this should boost his production. Richy has been very good recently, scoring 6 goals in the L7 games and putting 9 shots on goal in the span but he has been hit or miss which worries me. Within those L6 games he 2+ shots on goal in 3 of those games but in the other 4 games he managed just 1 total shot per game, 2 coming on goal. Although he has been on and off his production has been too good for me to pass up on and should see a boost in opportunities in what should be a free-flowing match against Brentford.

Lastly, backing Jota to have a shot on net coming off a game against Norwich city where he had 7 total shots, 2 on goal and 1 goal. Liverpool have scored 2+ goals in 13 of their L18 games across all competitions, 2+ in 5 of their L6 and in 7 of their L9. As stated earlier, we know Jotas stats in the game against Norwich but, Liverpool as a team was also firing on offense. 5 goals on 29 total shots, 10 on goal and 13 corner kicks. Jota has been in and out of the lineup following his return from injury and getting his third start since should give a ton of chances to put one on the net. I am expecting this to be a close game, but Liverpool should have no trouble winning in the end, I don’t think Chelsea will be able to keep up offensively. GL.
