This line is super thick for a Chelsea team that is playing on the road and one that has had its fair share of ups and downs. Losing to teams they should beat and beating teams they should lose to, so it’s a real mystery which Chelsea team will show up today, just 4-3 in their L7 Premier League games.

One of my main reason for backing Chelsea this afternoon is the injuries for Crystal Palace in the midfield/defense. Palace will be missing Eze ,Olise, Doucoure, and Guehi, all 4 starters. With Chelsea having both Jackson and Nkunku healthy, Palmer playing at a star level and Madueke stepping up lately I don’t see a way where Crystal had the personnel to compete with the Blue.

If this were any other top 6 EPL team (Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool etc.) going against a depleted Palace team I would say it’s a lock but with Chelsea being so unpredictable it’s really up in the air. They should destroy Crystal Palace today but it’s Chelsea and it’s always going to be a mystery.

One thing that helps is Crystal Palace has just 2 wins in the L15 games and getting outscored 16-27 during that span. Chelsea is just too talented and Palace is missing too many players from the starting XI to really compete today. GL.
